From a fiery Mexican-Russian Ukrainian background, Rosita grew up living in Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Malta and America. With this gypsy lifestyle she absorbed many different cultures and influences. At five years old she started dance classes and eventually studied in New York, Vegas and Los Angeles, where at 13 years old she won a scholarship at the famous Dupree Dance Academy. Later she landed  tours with the UN in Egypt, Cyprus, Israel and Germany as lead singer and choreographer.

Now, Rosita is an award winning recording artist, a prolific bilingual songwriter who produces and arranges her music.  She’s a dynamic performer who reaches right into the heart of her audience with her energy, vocal range and style. She has worked with 2 time Grammy Winning Producer Jim Tullio in Chicago and her songwriting has attracted the attention of Nashville’s No. 1 hit songwriters Kim Tribble, Philip Douglas and Kris Bergsness (Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson) with whom she has co-written several songs. She has also co-produced, composed and sang with Robby Riggs and Peter Wellington who’ve re-mixed for Shania Twain and Nelly Furtado and who were signed by superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold (who himself was signed by Madonna).

Rosita Stone has won a Latin American Achievement Award (Premios Somos) and has had her self produced CD “The Real Deal” licensed to Universal Music Group in 5 countries in Latin America. In Canada she has performed at many prestigious stages including Harbourfront Center, The Living Arts Center, Nathan Philips Square, Dundas Square and in front of thousands of people for several of the Mexican Cultural Celebrations in Toronto, sponsored by the Mexican Tourism Board and Consulate. She is currently working on a Spanish album with the brilliant Jorge Lopez who was the lead guitarist for Linda Rondstat’s Grammy Winning Mexican album Canciones de mi Padre.

Her track record includes sharing the stage with many international artists, performing with the world famous Michael Bublé, being the opening act for Latin Superstars such as Carlos Vives, and success in Latin America where she toured and has been interviewed by all major TV, radio, newspapers and top magazines such as TV Grama (Latin equivalent to People Magazine) and Rolling Stone Latin. She has achieved TOP 5 charting success with three different songs (in both English and Spanish) and has performed live on many TV shows including CityTV/Muchamusica Latin America for a viewing audience of 50 million. She received an award for her 2 videos both reaching the Top 5 and on high rotation for 32 weeks consecutively. Rosita’s self directed independent video for her song “Sangre y agua” reached Number 2 on the mainstream charts in Latin America, and this was all before any major label came into the picture.

On Intercontinental RADIO LA W, the biggest in Latin America, Rosita was interviewed by famous Latin host Julio Sánchez Cristo, he likened her talent level to world famous Norah Jones and Joss Stone. While touring Latin America, Rosita, who had been a motorcycle instructor, created a one-of-a-kind and leading edge cross-promotion with Harley Davidson and CityTV/Muchamúsica which aired to millions of viewers worldwide.

Not only does Rosita have a flair for music, she also has a serious passion for Preventative Natural Medicine. She is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Iridologist and has trained in Ayurvedic medicine for 2 years with an acclaimed Ayurvedic physician. She graduated top of her class at the prestigious Institute of Holistic Nutrition and has appeared on the Discovery Channel’s TV show "Health on the Line" which featured author and healer Deepak Chopra. In this field of natural medicine, Rosita has been a keynote speaker at Ryerson University, appeared on radio shows, has been featured at many seminars, moms groups, and has held natural health workshops at Nathan Philips Square. Eye for the Future Magazine has Rosita onboard as their Nutrition specialist and will be publishing her articles.

Blending her music and healing, she performed on the grand piano for the gala of the First Annual Holistic Nutrition Conference in Toronto, April 25th 2008, along side International Film and TV star and Health Advocate Margot Kidder

In May 2008 and eight months pregnant, Rosita performed as the special guest of world renowned best selling author and internationally known authority on health, Dr. Len Horowitz, in a concert which was tuned to the love frequency of 528 Hz. This is the frequency that has been proven to heal DNA along with many other amazing healing properties. Len Horowitz is now taking Rosita’s music and having it converted to this new frequency in which he will be releasing the new album through all of his worldwide channels, through Tetrahedron.

Rosita is now the host for the TV series in the making “Quest For Tomorrow” which will travel to mystical places such as Peru to explore the Sacred Wisdom of the Ancient Spiritual Traditions and Healing Practices from cultures around the world. As a practitioner and student of spiritual and healing practices from many ancient traditions, Rosita is well acquainted with the material this project will be covering.

Rosita feels it's highly important to pass on knowledge, especially to our youth, for the continuance of health and well-being on our planet and is determined to send the message out about the healing frequencies, love and compassion.
