In 2004 Florence Chan graduated and received her diploma from the Police Foundations Program (2 yrs). Florence decided to build her career within the Police department based on her respect and admiration for others, as well; she wanted to help make the world a much better and safer place to live. Florence realized later the negative aspects and severity within the Police force where she decided to look at other options career-wise to pursue.

These famous words come from one of my mentors, the important inspirational ingredient to the early success of my career. Many people define success as having lots and lots of money. However, I believe success comes with knowing the very foundation of what we do in our every day lives. To succeed we must learn to perfect the arts we treasure, and delete any imperfection and habits that grow on us. Training is a way to tackle the little things that make the big differences in the detail of our art forms. In the case of HAIR, learning how to cut hair can be easy but understanding and expressing it with confidence and originality is what comes with practice. |
