“I am what I suppose is known as an emerging Canadian photographer.  The words of Minor White best describe my approach towards photography, " When gifts are given to me through my camera, I accept them graciously."   I rarely set out to purposely create a photograph; rather what I do is simply open myself up to whatever happens.  I find that when my mind is open the images simply present themselves to me.  All I do is capture the image in my camera.

Constantly pushing the envelope of photography. Drawn from a background in art he is always looking for new and exciting ideas to bring his photos to life. His photographic adventures began six years ago when he purchased his first digital camera. Only a pocket camera he quickly found something that allowed him to practice and learn photography without sacrificing to much money. As time went on his technical knowledge grew so did his hunger for more artistic challenge.

Defining, Evolving, Intimate; Three words that can easily describe Joey B(uczek)'s art, whose unique photographic talent comes from his innate ability to recreate the artistic visions and stories he holds in his mind prior to pressing the shutter on his camera. His life as an artist was self-realized at only four years of age, and his life up until now and into the future is dedicated to continually creating and evolving his work.
