Alternative Rock

The Modest Cowboy sound is a surprise. The best description was delivered by lead vocalist Brooke Palmer during a radio interview when he described the sound as the “love child resulting from a union of Buck Owens and David Gilmour”.  Country and Western meets Pink Floyd. The sound and content is thoughtful, atmospheric and broody – with a mildly hypnotic groove best listened to as part of a long, lonesome drive on a foggy night.
